Next Great American Restaurant

Watching the “Next Great American Restaurant” -the founder of Chipotle and Bobby Flay want to help you open your own chain.

The contestants didn’t do all their homework. They should have watched cooking competitions, even though they aren’t chefs. The first thing you learn is not to argue with the judges when they say your food isn’t good.

Additionally, they needed to do research on venture capital, because that’s what they’re getting here. They needed to learn that passion is good, but you have to make the people who are giving you money happy. Ignoring their concerns equals zero dollars.

I don't know if they'll do the show again. Its pretty risky and involves a substantial investment from the "judges", so the likelihood of another season doesn't seem super high to me. But I would watch their official website http://www.nbc.com/americas-next-great-restaurant… to see if they issue new casting calls
