Well thank you very much!!! This is more than a boost, it's added motivation to not stop writing. I do know I sound hard on myself in my posts, but only because I am not very hard on myself in real life :). And your comments always keep my grounded. My debt is symbolic of how I have been somewhat stuck in my 20s, trying to figure out what to do. Now I think I have a clue and I'm working towards a lot of things, but it's not always a straight path. But being around other bloggers is a big motivation!

Starting when the kids are young, I think we can do. Parents, well, I'm not brave enough to have my divorced parents in the room while discussing finances. But your'e right, family meetings need to simply be part of being a family.

Wow - thanks! I'd recommend you start family meetings when your kids are young. If you get really brave, invite your parents and your spouses parents to join! By starting young, you establish that meetings are part of the family routine, natural and necessary.

Thanks for the shout-out, Erin. It's encouraging to know that even when I'm neglecting blogging something I've written has been interesting to someone else.

Hope to get caught up reading my back log of posts in Google Reader any year now. :)

Thank you so much for the lovely feature! Dont' worry, I had to think for a long time about Shiva's songs as well - it's why I ended up writing my own post. I figured all that thought may as well be worth something! After I hit publish, I realized I'd left a few songs out. Apparently I can't make up my mind either.

I can't wait to read what you come up with!

Poor thing! Thank goodness she has you two. Our foster dog was returned to the shelter when he got sick after being adopted. Of course, I can't complain too much, because if he hadn't been, he wouldn't be curled up in his little bed next to me right now.
