Gratitude Journal 2020 #1
Welcome to Gratitude Journal 2020. It may not have seemed like it, especially toward the end as I fell off from writing the journal on a regular basis, but I really liked doing this last year. I honestly do believe it made me happier. (Which was one of my main purposes for doing a gratitude journal.) And so, I am going to do another one for 2020. I am going to keep the goal at 100 items (called entries in 2019) for the year. I am going to keep the focus on the smaller, everyday things, but if something big happens, I am going to let myself be publically grateful…

100 Words On… The Mandalorian
Finished watching The Mandalorian. It was really good. It reminded me of Star Trek (do not kill me), or perhaps the A-Team, meaning that each week was a different adventure not necessarily related to the previous adventures. The meta-plot came into a play a bit more in the final two episodes, but that is pretty standard. But I really like shows where each episode can stand on its own and does not require an in-depth understanding of all that has come before to enjoy it. Also, the world-building in a world we fans all think we know, has been excellent.

Gratitude Journal #44
Last day of the year and Gratitude Entry #100. I have tried over the year to remember to be grateful for the little things, like the Starbucks employees who start work at 4a, so that when I pull into the drive-thru at 6a, someone is there to make me my Chai tea latte. But the truth is, what I am most grateful for in my life are the people. And so, this last week’s worth of gratitude entries are going to be about the people I am grateful for. Gratitude Entry #100 – C C and I started dating in January 2000. This means we have been together for 20…

Rejected Book Reivew: The Last Queen of Scotland by Ray Barron-Woolford
I read The Last Queen of Scotland by Ray Barron-Woolford in order to do a review for the Online Book Club. The author, I think, was unhappy with how long he had to wait for a reviewer to choose to read it (it had been sitting for at least a month when I claimed it), that he was paying for the review (that is a choice, many authors submit their books for review where the only thing reviewers get is a free copy of the book), and that he did not get to read my entire review before determining whether or not to approve the payment. One thing the Online…
