A Walk Around the Blogs: Sleepy Saturday Edition
It’s a nice quiet Saturday here at the house. The hope is to get some cleaning done and maybe go on a real walk later today. We’ll see if our weather holds out for us. In the meantime, let’s take a stroll around the blogs.
Now that we have a truly senior dog in our lives- the vet estimates Howie’s age at 10-12, probably closer to 12, we’re paying a bit more attention to all senior pets. This week Cindy Lu’s Muse is featuring an adorable, adoptable senior cat, Sweet.
I found Just Ramblin’ only very recently, and I must say I love all the pictures. At the same time, my favorite is of the Newfie Miss Stella, as Pier apologizes for being a little too busy with real life.
As much as we love our dogs, sometimes they can make us so frustrated- frustrated enough that we think we should see other dogs. But then, just like Kahuna’s K9s, we simmer down, and those sweet faces win.
I’ve never had dogs that slept on each other- on me, yes, but not each other. Still, Moree and Smokey were incredibly bonded after 6+ years together, and June and Larry are too, now that we’re approaching a year. Still, some dogs just bond more quickly than others, Like Sir Chick and the Dude over at love & a six-foot leash. Is it love?
We did not participate in the Something Wagging Train Your Dog (etc) Challenge, but I followed it pretty closely. It was nice to see all the results rounded up at Something Wagging This Way Comes. Congratulations to all the participants.
We end today on endings. Sadly, the folks at Borderblog lost a beloved cat, and over at Pittiefull Love, Knox is gone as well, leaving the world a better place, but his people feeling empty. Our hearts go out to those who have lost pieces of their heart this week.
