Basset Hounds!

When we were at the dog park recently, it was Basset Hound day, including a wagon full of puppies.

When we get one Basset at our dog park it's an amazing thing. Looks like Bassets had quite a day.

BTW, just where do you get a cart full of puppies? 🙂

Trust me, wagon full of puppies threw us off too. I think she said they were around 8 weeks old. She had sold all but one of the litter, and I'm not certain if she was trying to sell the last one or not (she said she was considering keeping him). It was probably great socialization for the puppies- lots of strange people coming up and petting them, lots of strange dogs around, etc. But they were Bassets and they were puppies, so they mostly slept through it all.

Still, probably one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

  I love when breed clubs have days at the dog park. It's always so much fun seeing lots of dogs you normally don't see that many of.
