  The neighborhood raised money to get his eyes treated a number of years ago, but every attempt they made to trap him failed. (They tried for over a year.) The other cats in the colony apparently look out for him, and my grandfather provides them with shelter, food, and water. This cat was on his way into my grandfather’s garage when he sensed me sitting there and decided to not come any further. But other than his eyes, he appears to be well fed, in good health, and doesn’t act as if he’s in pain.
