A Walk Around the Blogs- We’re Not Talking About Mother’s Day
As I have confessed, I am struggling with my time management skills. I’ve barely been reading other blogs lately, let alone commenting on them, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to share awesome posts and bloggers with other people.
I apologize that today’s walk is a quick one, no real time for stopping and smelling the flowers (or peeing on the bushes), but at least we’re getting the walk in, right?
I have an interview Tuesday morning. I have lost almost 60lbs since I last shopped for work clothes. Can you guess one of my activities for Monday? Average Joe gives great tips on dressing for success (for less), that you can bet I’ll be using.
As you may have figured out, I have been feeling a little overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the changes lately, but I need to get myself back on track. Luckily, the amazing Jana at Daily Money Shot just started her series on feeling overwhelmed and eliminating it.
Red Fish, Blue Fish, We’re Having Two Fish just celebrated its one year blogiversary. Head on over and congratulate Red on being able to maintain a blog and take care of newborn twins. I doubt I could have done it.
Money for College Project posted some really great information on how to create your own scholarships. I’ve got only nine years (if all works out) to create a college fund, so I’m asking all of you, please create scholarships so that my kid can apply for them.
Jenniemarie at Another Housewife is back! You have no idea how happy this makes me. The question is, can I follow her advice on how to be a better friend?
The new to me blog from the world of personal finance is not quite in the world of personal finance, but it is not only new to me, but new to the world. My dear friend Ellen has started a blog on working in the video game industry, sharing her vast amount of knowledge. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in working in video games, follow EllenBeeman.com.
2 Punk Dogs gives us a pictorial of June’s favorite kind of agility- woodland agility.
Stop over at The Daily Dog Blog to offer some love and understanding, as they wonder Where do we go from here? Honestly, this really is a big reason we’re a multi-dog household, but it doesn’t mean we don’t understand their loss and pain.
Given how many things June eats that she’s not supposed to, I think we have been very luck so far not to have had the experience Jodi and the Heart Like a Dog household did, when Delilah got in the Bisquick.
When it comes to the dogs, I’ve always been a very light sleeper. June standing up to changes positions (on our memory foam mattress) can wake me up. I guess it means I don’t have to endure the 10 Ways Leroy at My Brown Newfies wakes his person.
My dogs are punks. That’s fine. But given how much adjustment they are also going through right now, I really needed Lindsay’s reminder at That Mutt that we need to recognize and reward their good behavior, because the truth is, they really are good dogs. (Just like Ace.)
New to me this week is Matildas Journey, a blog about a therapy dog who is now battling cancer herself. I love this little post with her and her brother, Kes.
