Walk Around the Blogs: I’m Back, but Where’s Everyone Else?

I’m back and ready for another walk around the blogs. With summer now over and my favorite season of fall here, I love being at home. In fact, with the exception of my trip the first weekend of football season September, we didn’t take any trips this summer.

That’s not true for a number of our blog friends, many of whom are on vacation now or have just gotten back.

Over at Kenzo the Hovawart, Don Kenozte and Lady Viva just came back from a lovely late fall trip to the ocean.

On Friday, Sir Chick and his faithful companion the Dude at Love and a Six-Foot Leash were getting ready to set out for a weekend getaway of their own.

The folks from Borderblog are on an Alaskan cruise (minus the dogs and the rabbits and the horses and the… well, you get the picture.) These pictures from Glacier Bay are just stunning.

At Brining Up Bella, not only are her people getting ready to go on vacation, but Bella gets to go to. Because they’re busy getting ready to go, we got this great picture of many a little girls’ dream come true- a pony for Christmas

On some level, it’s not fair, because the team at Go Pet Friendly is always on vacation. But I loved this write up of one of the places I’ve always wanted to visit- the other Portland.

And finally, this isn’t about travel at all, but it makes me smile so much. My friend Lindsay at That Mutt has also been fostering a senior dog. While I was away and not reading posts, Dora got ADOPTED!
