A Walk Around the Blogs: Let’s Have Some Fun

It’s been kind of a busy morning on what was supposed to be our first no plans, nothing we need to do, weekend of the summer. So naturally, we made an appointment to get a car in for service. We now won’t have that car back until Monday.

I also need to get some more lawn mowing in. I did the back part of the yard yesterday, but still need to do the front of the side yard and the front yard, hopefully both today, as we’re supposed to get blessed rain again tomorrow.

So with that note, know that our walk around the blogs is mostly about fun stuff today. Because we like fun.

We’re starting with a perfect day. Like us, Lindsay of That Mutt is fostering a senior dog. Her Dora seems like she may have a few more problems than Howie, and so Lindsey decided to give her a perfect day. 

Not quite a perfect day (in fact, Delilah might have been a bit cranky), but Jodi of Life with Sampson and Delilah took Delilah to a drop in agility class where they had one good run, and Delilah got some extra treats.

Aleksandra at love & a six-foot leash isn’t feeling well herself. Luckily, she has a Chick to curl up under the blanket with her. I think I’m going to be grateful that my under the blanket dog (Larry) is quite a bit smaller.

Speaking of Larry, he loves his Chuckit- actually, he loves all Chuckits, and a common phrase out of our mouths at the dog park is “not your Chuckit”. I mention this because apparently the House of Two Bows does not have a Chuckit, but they think everyone else might.

We love kisses in this house. We love getting them and giving them. And because of that, I could not help but laugh at the side effect from kisses over at The Chronicles of Cardigan. Note to self, so not give doggies kisses while wearing bright red lipstick.

And finally, we got to know Tavish, the newest member of the family over at I Still Want More Puppies. He is a pretty adorable little guy.
