A Walk Around the Blogs: Off Week Edition
I didn’t have time to do a Walk Around the Blogs last week, and next week I’m going to be at a mini-family reunion. So we have an off week walk. Things are pretty busy here (we’re in the “hurry up” stage of hurry up and wait) so I’m still kind of phoning it in. I hope no one minds terribly.
We’re starting at Doggerel because Doggerel was actually one of the first other pet blogs I started to read and a lot of my current reading list comes from her Pup Links. She finally got her dream dog, Pyrrha the German Shepherd, and they are living in the joy of all of those “first” moments. This last week, they actually had their first Off-Leash Encounters. Yay for good experiences.
Speaking of good experiences, Mel from No Dog About It Blog recent went to a Pet A Palooza. Just looking at her pictures you can tell everyone had a great time.
That Mutt recently underwent a major redesign and Lindsay is working on refocusing the blog. It remains one of my favorite sites, especially because of posts like Which dog training method is best that remind us that every dog is different.
Kristine and Shiva (as well as her PH and The Cat) of Rescued Insanity recently moved! They are now in a house, which means all sorts of new adventures. We are no where near enough to throw them a housewarming party, but still hope they continue to love their new space.
Our dogs are currently on a half kibble, half brown rice and chicken diet. We’re doing this because of Junebug’s tendency to eat anything she can find and because Howie had been having some tummy issues. You know who else has tummy issues? Doodlebug over at love & a six foot leash. He gets sweet potato as part of his diet.
And we end with poop- because isn’t that the way all things end? At least with our dogs? Pamela from Something Wagging This Way Comes finally comes out and says the things all dog owners know, but don’t like to admit- The Language of Poop is the Language of Love. (Do you think the French are surprised?)
