A Walk Around the Blogs: Cuteness Overload
I hadn’t really meant for today’s Walk Around the Blogs to be about the pictures, but it turns out, it mostly is. Which kind of makes sense, since I’m feeling a bit under the weather, pictures are much easier for me to understand right now than all those words. Words make my brain have to work, and who wants that?
I will admit, though, that our first stop isn’t really about the pictures. It’s about the story. You see, Corbin, of Oh Corbin recently had a day that ended up requiring a Tell-all. And I just have to let him know it’s not so bad. Our foster dog Howie often has his lipstick showing (though less now than when he first came to us). At least no one is telling your mom she needs to put Vaseline on you yet.
Ever since I first ran across Anne the Dog Photographer, I’ve loved her site. It’s always all about the pictures, and they are so cute. This week, I’ve fallen in love with this Chihuahua pair loving for their together home. (This is odd, because Chihuahuas are actually my least favorite dogs.)
House of Two Bows gets featured once a month over on The Dog Ate My Wallet, and they’ll be there again this weekend. But I want people to know I read this blog for more than just their tracking of pet costs. M.C. takes absolutely lovely pictures. And trust me, this set will make it so you never confuse a Basenji and Rhodesian Ridgeback ever again.
Pittieful Love claims to be a dog blog, but like the rest of us, they are slaves to kitten breath. You heard me- kitten breath. And just so our they know they aren’t alone in turning the dog blog over to the cats, at least once in a while, The Chronicles of Cardigan was also caught outside when it rained foster kittens. (Now, I don’t need it to rain men, I’m pretty happy with C, but why, oh why, can’t I ever be around for the days when it rains kittens?)
While we’re on foster cats, Cindy Lu of Cindy Lu’s Muse recently got a very special email with a picture and update from two of her former foster cats.
And finally, over at Of Pit Bulls and Patience, we are focused not on cats, but on French Bulldogs. (I have a friend whose daughters termed these dogs “bunny pugs”. I actually think that’s a better name for them than French Bulldogs, but what do I know.)
