Drunk Puppy Buying???

Today was supposed to be a picture day, but I forgot to get pictures uploaded to the correct computer.

So instead, I’m linking to this story about pet stores in NYC who have decided that they will no longer sell puppies to drunk customers.
Not to get in to all the issues with selling puppies at a pet store, I appreciate this policy and yet wonder why it took so long to put in place. Don’t these places have signs that say “We reserve the right to refuse service” and why hasn’t it always been the policy not to sell a living creature to someone who is intoxicated?
