Our visit to Sand Point

September 8, 2011 | Filed under: At the Dog Park
Our visit to Sand Point happened on a hot, sunny afternoon.
It was a June kind of place with a lot more families and kids than we usually see at Grandview or West Seattle.  She loved it. We entered and there was immediately a child who had never seen a beagle before. He was very excited and she happily jumped up on the picnic table to be petted and adored by him and his family.
On the way out, we once again sat at that table and three more children asked to pet her. (They were all siblings and they each asked individually- it was rather cute.) June loved every second of it. She adores children.
At the beach, she was interested in wading in to the water (but not even getting her belly wet). Larry, however, wanted nothing to with the water. He looked at it, wandered close, and then went exploring elsewhere.
