Jill seems a little more approachable, a little more relatable in her issues. And I like her love interest more.<\/p>\n<p>In both series, I have a hard time understanding the love interest\u2019s motivations- I\u2019m not certain what he\u2019s getting out of the relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, I don\u2019t think it matters. The books are pulp. They\u2019re action with a little bit of romance thrown in.
