<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nGratitude Entry #50 \u2013 CBD Oil for Dogs<\/strong> Gratitude Entry #51 \u2013 A Good Mani\/Pedi Place<\/strong> Gratitude Entry #52 \u2013 Wildlife Rehab Centers<\/strong> I honestly had planned on writing my gratitude journal last night. Really. But then my night ended in a phone call with Pop Tart instead \u2013 something all on it\u2019s own to be grateful for. And I did not write. It happens. But I was grateful for a few things this week. Gratitude Entry #50 \u2013 CBD Oil for Dogs Listen, this last week was the 4th of July. And I live in an area where fireworks are legal. And not just the little ones, big ones. And I have dogs, dogs that have lived all of their lives in urban or suburban areas. These are not dogs who are used to loud booms. But a few nights a year (4th of July, New Year\u2019s Eve, and if the Seahawks make the playoffs) there are fireworks with very loud booms. And Junebug huddles in her crate in fear. Larry trembles uncontrollably, trying to figure out where the threat is coming from and wanting to make it stop. But he cannot make it stop, and I cannot make it stop for him. Enter CBD Oil, used in combination with their Thundershirts. Yes, I drug my dogs. And this is a good thing. Junebug was able to sleep. Larry was able to lie quietly on the bed with me, no shaking involved. He still responded to the really big booms with barking, but it was the same way he would respond to the doorbell. There was not the overwhelming fear. And I will take that, every single time. Gratitude Entry #51 \u2013 A Good Mani\/Pedi Place I used to have acrylic nails. This meant I got my nails done every two weeks, for years. I no longer have the fancy nails (instead I have fancy hair), so I do not go get my nails done every two weeks anymore. But I do like to go get them done about every two months. But it can be hard to find a place I like with decent prices. Well, this weekend, I found a salon close to home with really great prices and excellent service. Plus, it is open on Sundays (which is the day I am most likely to have time to go get a mani\/pedi). And yes, this is a little thing, but that\u2019s the whole point of this journal, to remind myself to be grateful for the little things. Gratitude Entry #52 \u2013 Wildlife Rehab Centers On Friday, as I was walking the yard to pick up sticks and other debris before mowing the lawn, I noticed a baby bunny rabbit in our grass. He was staying very still. I decided to grab my phone and get a picture. And that is when I realized that he was letting me get a little too close. It turned out, the baby bunny was injured. It was not an obvious injury, no blood or broken bones that we could tell, but he was not able to use his back legs. This is pretty much death for a rabbit. I could not leave him in our back yard. The last thing I wanted was for our dogs to get him. But even moving the little guy to our front yard would likely have led to his death by some other predator. And I get circle of life and that the raptors have to eat. I do. But I did not want to be the one responsible for it. So, I took advantage of the fact that we actually have a Wildlife Rehab Center nearby and drove the bunny there.
